cloudnothings_PoonehGhana-34rsWhat once started as a collection of GarageBand recordings in the bedroom of frontman Dylan Baldi’s home in Ohio, now has a record deal and a constantly expanding loyal fan base that ranges from countries all over the world. When indie rock band Cloud Nothings first started, Baldi set out with one simple mission statement: to make every song he writes better than the last. A few years and a couple extra band members later this work ethic still rings true in their latest album Here and Nowhere Else. As the follow up to the Steve Albini produced Attack On Memory released in January 2012, 2014’s Here and Nowhere Else set out to be louder, more refined and more optimistic than its predecessor. Songs such as the crowd favourite I’m Not a Part of Me and explosive hit Psychic Trauma stands testament to this, further continuing their run of fast paced indie anthems. Taking to the stage in Sticky Mikes Frog Bar in what is to be their first headline show in Brighton, Cloud nothings will almost definitely play a crowd pleasing show for fans both old and new.

Cloud Nothings play Sticky Mike’s Frog Bar on 20/11/14, tickets £13.
