Restaurant Review: Jimmy’s

On Wednesday 14th January, we were lucky enough to be invited to the grand opening of Jimmy’s Restaurant, located at 1-5 Palm Drive in Brighton Marina.

Jimmy’s is a combination of a restaurant and bar with an all you can eat buffet for an affordable price. As soon as we set foot inside the restaurant, the atmosphere was bright and welcoming. The restaurant appears a lot smaller at an initial glance whilst outside, yet inside does not compare. Instead, Jimmy’s Restaurant is spacious and quickly causes a customer (like myself) to become comfortable.

With a variety of different food stations, ranging from Indian, Chinese, Italian and many more, there is so much to choose from, it is the perfect place to go to when indecisive on what kind of food to eat and allows a person to have absolutely anything instead! The restaurant offers live cooking stations, where the customer is able to choose the ingredients that they want and watch a chef cook their meal. Immediately, we were aware that our food was placed in good hands.

The evening was also filled with entertainment ranging from music to dancing. At one point, a Chinese dragon went around the restaurant along with music played on drums. The appearance of the dragon was quite sudden whilst we sat at our tables, though it was a great to see whilst we ate our meals and later on witnessed dancers. For me, there was never a dull moment as not only were we able to eat whatever we wanted and how much we wanted, we were able to witness great talent!

Despite how busy the restaurant seemed, the service never faltered. They were quick to replace an empty glass or take away finished plates. It is the perfect restaurant for families, social gatherings or any kind of celebratory matter.

I had an incredible time at Jimmy’s restaurant and highly recommend anyone to pay them a visit at some point, I’ll definitely be visiting again in the near future!
