Student Elections, Candidate running for Entertainment Officer Larissa Marie Tasker!

FIGHT OR FLIGHT

Usually the saying ‘fight or flight’ is a choice between two different actions, to consequentially solve a problem. Running for Entertainment officer, I’d like to combine the two; fighting with commitment and flying with innovation, creativity and inspiration.
Being a first year studying International Events Management, I am still learning, and always will, but my keen zest to come up with and plan exciting, fresh entertainment will never stop.

Performing arts at college has instilled a sense of self assurance, confidence and a little bit of sass, Catering and planning functions for work has given me priceless Event experience, and being apart of the BSCOOP and the Event Management soc has given me useful contacts within the University and most importantly motivation.

I have already started the project of Pole and Circus fitness up at TSG, running fortnightly Wednesday; for any girls who are looking to get fit, tone up and have a fantastic time. I also plan to: encourage more involvement from students on their entertainment, pushing forward new ideas based on the student voice and help make 2014/15 unforgettable! The best part is that the event industry is just bursting with infinite amounts of possibility,

You are my driving force; I’m committed to listening to every single student at Eastbourne campus, as you provide the inspiration and diversity that makes up the entertainment industry at Eastbourne. I am open-minded and extremely flexible, planning an event for you will be wildly fulfilling, I want to be approachable and become an anchor for you to propose your ideas and vent your frustrations; knowing they won’t just be heard but acted upon!

Your vote is your voice, and every vote I receive represents your invaluable support, so please vote for me to be your Entertainment officer.
Inspiration comes from everywhere; it is what I do with it that counts. And I plan on keeping two feet firmly OFF the ground…
