STUDENT VOICE: Brighton Wellbeing Cafe @ The Hive, 13/12/17

The Student Mental Health Society is launching their first Wellbeing Cafe!

The Wellbeing Cafe will be up at the Hive, at Brighton’s Falmer campus on Wednesday 13th December, 1.30-3.30pm. Join in for the last ‘mood boost’ event before the Christmas break.

Organised by the UoB Student Mental Health Society (SMHS), the Wellbeing cafe is part of a student-led campaign to promote student mental health on each of our Brighton campuses. The SMHS aims “to cut stigma, not support”. It also wants to ‘provide a safe space for people to come and chat about the wellbeing and ways to look after it’. As part of their promise to provide an inclusive social group setting for all UoB students, the Wellbeing Cafe will be just that. An open and supportive space, with the added bonus of free tea and cake, to ensure we’re all nourishing ourselves.

This Wellbeing Cafe is a chance to be social in a supportive environment before we all go home over the Christmas break. Find out more about the Student Mental Health Society and their aims for supporting mental health for students here.
